Today was my birthday!

 Spent the day with family and the fiancé, just how I like it! We went to a local baseball game and out to dinner! I had a great time, but I feel like I'm already getting so old and I'm only 22. I think it comes from the pressure I put on myself to have pretty much everything in my life figured out this instant, when in reality that's impossible. I need to learn to relax and enjoy the here and now and not let it dwindle away by planning what's going to happen tomorrow. I have a feeling it's going to take me awhile to get the hang of this! But for now, I'm just going to start by being happy and thankful that I had a such a nice birthday with people that I love and who love me back! <3

What I've been up to...

Recently I was asked by a friend of mine to do some paintings for her new baby's nursery. The theme is Dr. Seuss, and here's what I came up with! They didn't take too long to complete after I really put my mind to it. She and her family loved them, and I couldn't be happier! What special projects have you been working on lately?

 

Success!

Today was my first garage selling day of the summer, needless to say, it was a success!! I love finding great deals, even if I don't exactly need the things I find! I even found some wedding items including a gorgeous vintage vanity that will serve as my sign in area, as well a some old crates to hold my succulent favors! Eeek!

Now it's off to my town's festival parade! Good day! :)
